It's Jesse Tyler Ferguson in the morning and night today as the out Modern Family funnyman visits Live with Regis and Kelly in the AM, followed by a visit to Jimmy Fallon's show in late night.

Today's gay TV is pretty heavy on the chatter as Dr. Phil takes on bullying and tonight is Guy Branum's chance to snark.

It's a double-feature from the gay parts of ABC's Wednesday comedies as Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ugly Betty gay-fave Vanessa Williams visit. I hope Williams will be spinning the bright side of Ugly Betty's cancelation, namely the potential of the wrap-up storylines.

Cast members from the latest season of High School Reunion, including "the gay guy" Eric, will appear today to give Dr. Phil a chance to discuss bullying and the characteristics of bullies and their victims. With Tyra's show going off the air, I have a feeling Dr. Phil is going to be the new talk show host who inspires very mixed emotions when he tackles GLBT issues.

I think this week (and next week, if TNT continues to follow the order NBC aired) was one of Southland's low-Cooper weeks as the Bryant and Moretta investigate a body gang members have repurposed for target practice and Nate's little sister disappears.
