Gay Interest Movies Premiering This Fall:
24th Day (Logo)
Premieres: Sunday, December 2
A casual gay pickup turns into a nightmare in Tony Piccirillo's adaptation of his play, The 24th Day. Tom (Scott Speedman) picks up Dan (James Marsden) in a bar and brings him home. Once inside Tom's apartment, Dan realizes that he's been there before in another encounter with Tom several years prior. Eventually, things turn ugly, and Dan finds himself tied to a chair.
Tom extracts a blood sample, explaining to Dan that he just recently learned that he's HIV positive, with the belief that the only way he could have gotten the virus is from Dan. As they wait for the results, hours go by and Dan tries to engage Tom in conversation, to engage his sympathy, and find a way to escape.

But his plans backfire when his family, and soon everyone else in his life, believes he is a gay man in a relationship. Witty and clever, Coffee Date gives a straight guy a voyeuristic insight into the gay world and the perplexing challenge of proving to everyone he's not gay.

Thanks for the heads up
I heard earlier this summer
I heard earlier this summer that Jay Manual might not be returning to ANTM because he didn't like the way they edit the show (ie: showing him disappointed in 1 model's shoot when he was actually talking about another model at the time). Did he decide to come back after all?
And any news on when Brothers & Sisters season one is coming out on dvd? :)
From your keyboard...
to the reality god's ears!
Jay is an embarrassment, smug, catty, and nowhere near as important as he thinks he is. I would love to see him gone for that show.
Difficult to say.
Jay has actually been hosting Canada's Next Top Model this past cycle, so he couldn't be too upset about things, continuing to work for one of Tyra's licensees...
Tacky as he is, I don't think that Jay Manuel is about to bite the hand that feeds him. She'll grill him for his rib meat. And it's not like Janice Dickinson is doing all that well away from Tyra either. Jay has to have some sense of what side his bread is buttered on, because he wouldn't have even half the "notoriety" he has if not for Top Model.
Yes I liked Jay as the host
Yes I liked Jay as the host of CNTM, I thought he did really well, much better than Tricia Helfer in cycle 1. CNTM cycle 2 was probably better than most of the cycles of ANTM, I think. The girls were better, the judges were actually helpful, and they did cool photoshoots (much better than the ones on the last cycle of ANTM).
The stuff I was reading made it seem like he was unhappy with how he was portrayed on ANTM so he moved to CNTM where he could have more control and be presented the way he wanted. This was way back in the early summer, so maybe they worked through it since I haven't heard anything since. Of course, maybe it was just a rumour, I don't know. I hope he stays on ANTM and does the next CNTM too.
When will Desperate Housewives go away?
I LOVE John Barrowman!
I worship the ground Neil Patrick Harris glides across
and I'm WAY over the moon about everyone on Ugly Betty.
That's all.
Andrew neutered?
Is that your way of saying he wasn't bad so he wasn't gay either? He started the season as a male prostitute and ends up dating the delivery guy to the Scavo's Pizzeria.
He mentioned that fact when Lynette wondered why he doesn't complain like the other workers. In the first season they already set up that Andrew could be bisexual, not just gay, in his conversation with the preacher.
I hope they leave it alone and continue forward with the character as gay since all he's dated in three years are other guys even after he buried the hatchet with Bree.
mmm, daddy
Great Guide!
Jason, there was going to be
Jason, there was going to be a gay cheerleader, but last I heard the role got cut when the actor dropped out. (Better job on a different show, I want to say?)
Josh Aterovis, great list! I'm going to be watching to see what TPTB do with Bionic Woman. I rather suspect that the subtext between Jaime and Sarah is just going to stay as subtext, though.
