"America's Next Top Model" Recap – Episode 8.4

Sarah's picture is surprisingly good. They love her eyes and even go so far as to point out to Renee how it should be done. I'm sure she loved that. Hee!

Jaslene's picture gets rave reviews, but it gives me the heebie-jeebies. She looks like she's about as big around as one of the lollipop sticks in the photo with her. For God's sake, EAT! The ice cream in her hand is probably the closest she's come to food in days.

Back to the critique, her face is still really strong, but they still have issues with her in person. Tyra encourages her to be more of an ethnic stereotype, then goes on to reinforce black stereotypes. "Culture is beautiful! I don't sit up here and go, 'That was a great shot.' I'm like, 'Girl, you better work it! Dadadadada... You look a little hootchie.' That's my culture." And millions of African-Americans cringe.

Deliberations! Jael's picture is her best yet. The camera doesn't love Natasha as much as the judges do. Whitney is pretty but not model pretty. Dionne is one to watch. Jaslene is picture perfect but no personality. Sarah's eyes burn right through you. Renee is a whore. Or she makes flirty eyes at everybody. I don't know, and quite frankly, don't care. I hate her.

Cassandra has a beautiful personality but it doesn't translate to beautiful pictures. Right, because you can't take pictures of personality. If you could, Renee's pictures would just be all black and slimy.

Brittany is high fashion even without a stitch of clothes. Diana could be sexy and use her curves, but she doesn't. Felicia is too music video.

Elimination time! The first girl called is Brittany — which burns Renee up — followed by Jael, Sarah, Dionne, Felicia, Renee, Whitney, Natasha, and Jaslene, who is once again warned about her personality deficiency.

It's down to Diana and Cassandra. Diana is a beautiful girl who should be vivacious because she's voluptuous, but instead she fades into the background. Cassandra is a beautiful girl inside and outside, and has all the qualities Tyra looks for in a model, except she can't take a good photograph. Which is, you know, a pretty important part of being a model...

So who goes home? Cassandra does. She was too good for this show anyway. At least she got some good weave out of the experience. The other girls seem devastated to lose her, but man, her pictures were bad.

Jaslene is the CoverGirl of the Week for the second week in a row. Really? Skeletor?
