The Best Gay TV Preview Ever!

Ice Blues

Chad Allen returns as detective Donald Strachey

What is it about? The adventures of gay detective Donald Strachey (Chad Allen) as he solves yet another mystery.

Who’s gay? Donald Strachey (Chad Allen), his boyfriend Timmy Callahan (Sebastian Spence) and others.

When does it air? As with The Lair, Ice Blues is a subscription movie so watch at your leisure starting today.

Why should you watch? There aren’t a lot of gay genre films out there, plus this series has only gotten better with each subsequent outing. And Allen is not only a fine actor, but he’s easy on the eyes as well.

When does it air? Fridays at 11 PM on HBO.

Why should you watch? Not only does Maher include gay voices on his show, but he frequently discusses gay issues. Plus, he’s pretty funny.

Real Momentum

What is it about? GLBT documentaries from around the world and about a variety of topics.

Who’s gay? Pretty much everyone!

When does it air?
Saturday nights on Logo at 8 PM.

Why should you watch? GLBT issues don’t exactly get in-depth coverage on broadcast television. A fifteen-minute segment on 20/20 is usually the best we can hope for, but with this series gay viewers can get a much more thorough look at gay life, from the lighthearted – Jake Shear’s touring Dollywood – to the more serious what life is like for gay youth living on the streets.
