What is it about? A talking car named KITT. Seriously.

Who’s gay? I was told by the show’s creator that while there were no male gay characters, and that the show’s lesbian character might now be straight (she was gay in the movie from earlier this year) that they had discussed whether KITT might be gay. That’s one way to avoid showing gay men kissing.

When does it air? Wednesdays at 8 PM on NBC.

Why should you watch? Because you have no life?

What is it about? Power women in Manhattan.

Who’s gay? Roy Merritt (Matt Lauria), Brooke Shields’ assistant, plus another character to be named later. The show also has the out Oliver Goldstick as executive producer.

When does it air? Wednesdays at 10 PM on NBC.

Why should you watch? Not to see yet another gay office assistant, but we are intrigued about which character will be coming out later. And Shields is pretty darn cool, too.

What is it about? Christine’s (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) attempts to find love and happiness.

Who’s gay? Christine’s brother came out last season.

When does it air? Wednesdays at 8 PM on CBS.

Why should you watch? One of this season’s plot developments has Christine marrying Barb (Wanda Sykes) for as of yet unspecified reasons. Both Dreyfus and Sykes are stellar comedians so this could be funny.Plus it's on right before How I Met Your Mother and do you really want to have to find the remote to change the channel?
