Brothers & Sisters (4.02) "Breaking The News" Viewing Party

We don't know how much our boys will be on, but I hope Scotty stands up for himself.

Kitty's sick. And we're afraid it's not fatal. But watching her fail to keep it a secret is going to require the support of friends, so crack a bottle, and tune in for our snark. We'll be there for you in your time of need.

Set a reminder below, or just join us at 9:45pm EDT Sunday October 04.

    Why are we having B/S

Why are we having B/S viewing parting but not The Amazing Race? TAR is more entertaining and interesting, esp with our gay bros.

We can only do so many shows! And as reality

shows have the chance to lose their gay contestants at any point, they don't make quite as much sense to do.

Kitty's disease probably has an appalling survival rate, and we're sad to say she's likely to buck the odds......um that was not Cool :( The scene with Scotty and Nora was great. Love when the writers remember and USE history. But I do not think Scotty and Kevin are ready for a kid. They're just one year into married life....

    Actually,

Non-hodgkins lymphoma is treatable and curable, particularly if it is diagnosed early and hasn't spread. The survival rates are good.

Kitty's not going anywhere. I wish Ryan was. What an annoying little snit, he is.

    Much better than last week

Then again, I allowed a half-hour TiVo delay and then fast-forwarded through any scene with Justin, Rebecca of Ryan in it.

It was also nice to see Scotty come out and air his worries to Kevin. The kiss was also very nice.

    One married couple is

One married couple is dealing with illness, another with baby issue. Yup, I smell jumping the shark. So I guess we will be seeing "Kitty has cancer" plot shovel down our throat for the rest of the season. What's the chance she won't make it? Zero chance. Which means, this season will be pointless regarding "Kitty has cancer" "Kitty may die" "Kitty lives"...

    Kitty Kitty Bang-ed Bang-ed?

Does anyone remember this from season 1 during charade? I guess that really came true!! Except she prolly won't die.

    So sad

that I found the skateboarding kid's story on Cold Case more compelling than BS tonight.

    I think

That it's written somewhere that in every season the Walkers must appear in a hospital lunchroom secretly drinking wine.

    Call Me Shallow But....

Don't sue me, but is it wrong that I find Luke Grimes totally hot?! He's got this bad boy, innocent, sweet face. I love them lips.

I never really clicked with the Ryan character at all last season, and he's not even making an ounce of impact on me. He's a big douche (not the french word for shower). What did Ojai do to him? It was really William that caused all of this, Ryan should go after him! Wait.... he's dead... Then why bother! Let it go man, and stop ruining people's lives that you don't even know about. I wonder what kind of repercussions will ensue when the family finds out Ryan's corruption!?

Call me shallow, but Luke is hot non?

Poor Kitty, I'm actually watching it unfold right now (darn you Alaska). It's not even 7 here when the live blog is over! Man Robert! If I found out that my partner had lymphoma I'd totally hold on for like 5 minutes when the words, "I have cancer," even come out!

I gotta say that Kevin is moving way too fast! I don't blame him since he's in his mid-thirties, however, he shouldn't push Scotty so hard into have a baby. I really liked the make-up scene between the guys, it was genuine and went well.

Did William have a secret affair with a man too?! Sheesh, this guys been around! lol I'm just kidding, He be promisin' some man some money, but he died before he could.

    Luke Grimes - HOT

OMG, totally agree. No one gets it - but I think he's amazingly hot. Those luscious LIPS, his adorable beautiful innocent-bad-boy combo look, I find him amazingly sexy and hot. There was one scene where he's shirtless and in his underwear, and even though I thought he'd just be too skinny, he had a slender but beautiful body, nicely fit, and sooo sexy. I hope they make more of his character - or get him into a 3-way with the gay couple!

    Better than last week's ...

I think this week's episode was way better than the series premiere last SUnday. I liked how Scotty was finally honest about why he didn't want a baby, and the kiss was just... very cute. Robert and Kitty's scenes were quite good tonight, I did like them! Wishing Ryan, Justin & Rebecca were cut off though! Missing Sarah a lot! and Sally Fields' meltdown scene reminded me again why I love her so much.

P.S.: I love Kevin & Scotty no matter what LOL

P.S.S.: Did anybody watch Matthew Rhys' interview last week on Jimmy Kimmel?

    OMG Snicks you're scary

I thought I was overloaded with bygone-decades TV trivia, but you.... and you can pull that "Magnolias" monologue out with no prep time! Impressive.

I wish I could join you guys on the live chat, but we're three hours later here, and I hate spoiling things for myself when I actually care about the show (unlike the American Idol chats...who the hell cares about spoiling something that already smells that bad). But kudos to Ed for the continuously great job and cuteness. And since you're mentioned good new fall shows..."Community" makes me totally laugh out loud...funniest thing I see on network TV. (Thursday nights after "The Office.")

The blog loves you. Even if there is bologna in your slacks.
