Brothers & Sisters (4.05) "Last Tango in Pasadena" Recap

Why are Justin's legs the only ones spread?

We open our Nearly Naked Frenchman episode with Sarah and Luc in bed together, and him plotting ways to keep her there indefinitely. I don’t know if that means I should be envious, or call the police to rescue her. Or offer myself as a hostage in exchange. Hey, I'm selfless that way.

In any case the unexpected return of her missing children, who were gallivanting around Europe with their father, causes Luc to run out the back door. And that's too bad as the walk-of-shame is always more fun with kids around.

Luc seems to have experience dashing out the backdoor while dressing.

Back at the Walker Manse, Robert brings food to Kitty on a tray, and I can’t help but think she’s milking this whole cancer thing a bit. I’ve known people that went through aggressive chemo and didn’t get to sit on their skinny ass reading self-help healing books on their Kindles while people waited on them hand and foot.

Turns out Kitty's book is about visualizing her white blood cells attacking the cancer cells and exploding like fireworks. Too bad it isn't the Fourth of July so could have actual fireworks to inspire her. Hold on, did I just do some foreshadowing?

I want to be pampered like this.

Robert tells her he can take her to a reception at the Reagan Library so she can hurl insults at politicians for entertainment and to also inspire her white blood cells. She agrees to go, and he says they can take the chopper. Aww, it’s good to be rich.

Speaking of whining people, it’s simply ruining Rebecca’s life that Justin can’t dance at the wedding she didn’t care about last week. At that place nobody does any work, Holly proposes they throw money at the problem as Ryan walks in and tries to get her to take a phone call from a money manager who really really wants to talk with her. Holly arrogantly refuses to take the call. Is it just me or has the foreshadowing on this show has gotten really heavy-handed?
