The Great Gay Says: The Great Gay hasn’t seen this one yet, and it has “gimmick” written all over it. But it’s a good gimmick and who knows? Maybe they’ll actually say something interesting about women and physical appearance.

August

The Great Gay Says: Talk about clash of the titans! The show hasn’t taped yet, nor have the guests been announced, but is there anyone who doesn’t want to watch Joan, possibly the quickest wit of all time, put her roasters in their place?

Project Runway (Lifetime)

Why It’s Gay: I’m not sure. But everyone seems to assume that “fashion” is “gay,” so there it is.
When It’s On:
The show finally – finally! – returns to air its long-unaired sixth season August 20th at 10 PM.

The Great Gay Says: The season was famously shot last fall, supposedly to be aired in January, with a “live” reveal of the winner from one of the three finalists this spring. But a network switch – from Bravo to Lifetime – embroiled the show in legal hell and left the participants wondering if they’d ever be on TV at all. Just how weird has the waiting game gotten? In February, the three finalists unveiled their collections, displayed at New York Fashion Week – but the designers were kept completely anonymous! We’ll know in August if the season was worth all this wait.
