Brothers & Sisters (4.13) "The Science Fair" Recap

We'll explain this later.
Sorry about not recapping last week, but, well, I really couldn’t be bothered. Suffice it to say, Kitty’s in remission after getting a bone marrow transplant from Ryan, who now feels like a Walker. My biggest hope out of them wrapping up the whole Kitty-cancer storyline in record time is that when they let her hair grow back in, she appreciates it enough to style it.
Last night, we got reminded that Kevin is competitive about everything, and that tweens are generally fairly insightful. Also, Holly may have a conscience.
Paige has a science fair project, but she did it all herself, and her mom isn’t satisfied. But since Paige is at that age where mom is slightly more embarrassing than showing up to math class in your underwear, she agrees to let the uncles help her.
It wouldn’t be a bad idea, except her uncles are Walkers, and so come with their own drama. Justin has been told he has basically no chance of making it through medical school, and even if he did, he’ll never pass the licensing boards. And Kevin and Scotty have found out that of the ten donor eggs they fertilized, eight are now blastocytes, and it’s a 5/3 split in Kevin’s favor, despite his less agile sperm.
After Saul pressures Holly into dropping the investigation on Ryan, she meets with the evil cattleman about selling her stake, but gets suspicious to his motives when he agrees to pay whatever her price is. Rather than fixing her money woes, you get the sense she’s going to take him on.
Back at Science Fair central, Kevin is expanding Paige’s citrus battery to power more than an LED, adding an antique radio, dancing robot, and disco balls. Scotty looks on in horror, and obviously considers the future well being of their cell clusters at the fertility clinic.
Oh, and Simon is back, and Sarah, locked out of her daughter’s life, finds out that Simon likes romancing wealthy older women, and has a chain of them in Palm Beach. Nora, well, she just wants another booty call.
