David Burtka Cast on E!'s "Loveline"-type Show

I'm not sure the world needs another talk show, but if we have to have one I'm glad to hear that E!'s still in-development Foursome is going to include David Burtka. TVGuide is reporting that Burtka, partner of Neil Patrick Harris, will be one of four hosts discussing their sex-lives ala the syndicated radio show Loveline.

"I have quite a past," Burtka told TV Guide. "I have lots of stories to talk about." But Harris isn't worried about having their private lives discussed because since the arrival of their twins, there hasn't been much going on in their bed but sleep.

It's nice to see a gay man included in a show like this as it should continue normalizing both gay relationships and gay sexuality, especially when discussed in the same way as straight sexuality. And with Burtka being the gay participant, I'm considerably less concerned about it being some kind of freak show than I would be if this were on, say VH1. Although, Burtka did say he has quite a past. Hmm...
