Joel Osteen Tells Piers Morgan That "Homosexuality is a Sin" and Elton John a Sinner, But Morgan Pushes Back

In a rather surprising interview to air Wednesday night, new CNN host Piers Morgan doesn't let Texas Pastor Joel Osteen get away with the usual platitudes religious homophobes like him tend to offer up in support of their bigotry. In fact, Morgan presses Osteen several times about the fact he is judging people after Osteen claims he isn't and even asks what gay people like Morgan's friend Elton John are supposed to do according to Osteen.

Not surprisingly, Osteen doesn't come off well. Check out the clip.

Kudos to Morgan for actually making Osteen defend his beliefs.
