THE GOOL HOT 12!
In honor of AfterElton.com’s Hot 100 voting currently underway, I've decided to choose the 12 hottest soap guys we cover weekly in the Gays of our Lives.

Whether they are extraordinary actors or those who play iconic, memorable roles or are simply unspeakably beautiful – or possibly all three – each have captured our attention since the inception of this column. Why twelve? Because ten simply isn’t enough.

12. Dave Annable (Justin Walker, Brothers & Sisters)

It’s not easy to get noticed when you’re up against powerhouse actresses such as Sally Field, Rachel Griffiths and Calista Flockhart, but somehow this talented 29-year-old manages to do it week after week. In playing the role of Justin Walker, a young man struggling to find adulthood, Annable captures your attention with those beautiful, expressive eyes, which manage to convey a range of emotion with a single look.

An avid sports fan, Annable spent the early part of his career hosting sports shows before gaining attention in the short lived FOX series Reunion. He also did guest spots on shows such as Third Watch and a number of commercials before finally finding fame on Brothers & Sisters.

Two years ago, Annable was #7 in People Magazine’s list of Sexiest Men Alive and last year he placed 75th on AfterElton.com’s Hot 100. Who knows where he’ll end up this year?

11. Tuc Watkins (David Vickers, One Life To Live and Bob Hunter, Desperate Housewives)

One of the busiest actors in the business, Watkins spends his days playing David Vickers, the lovable con-artist on the long running soap opera One Life To Live and his nights as Bob Hunter, the devoted life partner of his male lover Lee on Desperate Housewives. The two roles couldn’t be more different, yet Watkins handles both with aplomb and a sense of humor that permeates the most serious of situations his characters face.

But DH isn’t the first time Watkins has played gay. In 1997, he had a part in the gay-themed film I Think I Do (1997) and later spent two years as Malcolm Laffley, a gay man dealing with the headaches of working in network television on the show Beggars and Choosers.

No matter what the role, daytime or nighttime, gay or straight, we’re glad to have Watkins around to entertain and entrance us with that oh so handsome mug of his.
