Gays of our Lives (May 26, 2009)EastEnders – Christian has always been there for his family when they needed him and he’s really going to be needed this time. His sister and her husband go on holiday and they leave Christian to take charge and run the business all on his own. But will he prove to be up to the task?
Isn’t it
much more fun watching Christian do this Beautiful People – In the premiere of this colorful camp musical comedy, we meet Simon, a young London boy who dreams of being a fashion designer. Think he’ll grow up to be gay? Anyway, in this first episode, we meet Simon’s quirky family and find out how he came across a cherished vase. And it all starts when Simon steals a dress. Plus, when Simon’s mother stops drinking, will the family be happy about it? Oddly enough, no. (Read our review here.)
There’s
quite a story behind how Simon got that vase … Forbidden Love – Another week, another couple of episodes of Christian and Olli worrying about other peoples’ problems. Olli shows Charlie the newspaper that has a picture of her and Stella’s kiss. She isn’t very happy about being outed by the press and Olli does his best to advise her. Meanwhile, things are tense at the flat when Lydia wants Sebastian to move in. However Christian, Olli and Judith don’t exactly welcome Lydia’s boyfriend with open arms. But why their hesitation?
Christian and Olli don’t want
Sebastian to move in. Greek – It’s back to having little to do for Calvin as he becomes immersed in Rusty’s love life. A girl Rusty is interested in joins their study group, creating headaches for everyone involved. I’m sure at some point Calvin will give some sage advice and then disappear off camera.
