QUESTION OF THE WEEK

A couple of weeks ago, the people that bring you the ongoing saga of Christian Mann and Olli Sabel on Forbidden Love came up with a concept that provides deeper insight and a closer look at the lives of this popular gay couple: the Chrolli vlog.

Every Friday, following the airing of Forbidden Love in its native Germany, a new edition of the Chrolli vlog is posted at www.chrolli.de where actors Thore Schölermann and Jo Weil talk to the camera in character about the week’s events, their relationship and how they feel about the world around them.

The vlog, filmed in an intimate setting a la Big Brother or The Real World, is in FL’s native German, but there is also a subtitled version for the show’s huge English speaking audience. We talked to Jo Weil about the concept behind the vlog and what he hopes to accomplish from it. And maybe we try to squeeze a few spoilers from the actor about what’s ahead for Christian and Olli.

Keep reading to see if we were successful!

AfterElton.com: What is the concept behind the vlog?
Jo Weil:
It is a little present for our wonderful fans. In this way, they have a chance to gain a deeper insight into Christian’s and Olli’s minds and learn about things that do not have a place in the daily episodes of Forbidden Love. The blog can be considered as an extension of the Chrolli story.
