I really, really liked the last episode of FoQ. It had everything, humor, seriousness, wonderful acting from both Fer and David.. And can I just say that I am loving the whole Fer and Gorka interaction? I think they have so much chemistry going on that it actually looked like they were about to kiss there for a while! lol.
I am still loving OLTL, and I can't wait to see what's in store for Nick, Kyle and Oliver.
SO MUCH has happened on NRPP with SanDiego! Santiago finally woke up from the coma, but he is paralyzed. AUCH! At least he seems happier now than before the accident, he is smiling and joking with everyone. Which is a bit weird, considering he just had an accident, is paralyzed, and is suicidal, but oh well.. At least he seems happier now. Santi and Diego had a really emotional scene, but of course the writers messed up, cut it, and we get a scene with Anais instead. Santi came out to his parents in the last episode, and as expected his mother didn't take it very well, but at least his dad was supportive.
Will be exciting to see where they are going with this whole paralysis. I really hope it's temporary, and not permanent. I want more emotional scenes between Santi and Diego too. And hopefully the writers won't cut them again..

While information about Lesbian & Gay Lawyers Association involvement heartens me a little bit, I'm still sorely disappointed in the upcoming wedding storyline on OLTL. Kyle and Fish are going to have enough of an obstacle in their way with Stacy's pregnancy--was this really necessary? I'm still worried about how this storyline cheapens the character development that's occurred thus far.
Moreover, I have serious concerns about how the women (particularly the campaign manager) will be portrayed in this storyline. Lesbian visibility on television is still minimal and visibility for lesbian women of color is virtually non-existent...so to have a storyline that sounds a lot like a minstrel show...well, it's just disheartening.
Sigh...
I think I'll just go back and stare at those pics of David Fumero to assuage my disappointment.

To be fair to the show, even as time-compressed as soap pregnancies can be (or in Y&R stretched), they've got a long time before Fish can deal with Stacy and the guppy. They haven't even fitted her with a fake belly yet, and I'm guessing to heighten the Rex/GiGi/Schuyler thing (which they brought back to the front yesterday), you won't get a real paternity test until the baby is born.
At some point, Stacey told Kimmie that she'd convinced Rex not to do a paternity test until the baby is born, so you're exactly right. It would have been better to see that scene than have it thrown out as a bit of exposition, but at least they covered it.

for me still the most interesting current gay storylines on TV it's OLTL and ATM,amazing performance and very good writing,i'm so thrilled to see Deniz and Roman 'come back together' moment,as i know it's going to be in Tuesday's episode,and of course Oliver/Kyle/Nick love triangle very exciting,just can't wait to see more of them.And i'm so hope all that rumors about cancellation will stay just a rumors,long life to OLTL!
In the other hand i'm so disappointed that FL's writers still keep give Ollie and Christian such a ridiculous and silly plots and when they finnally give something really interesting,one time in month, it's too short line.What a waste of talanted and gorgeous actors! huh?

i am wondering why people are so worried or being disappointed about OLTL's gay wedding episode... i mean - it hasn't been done before - all i remember that happening was on a Spanish movie called "Reinas" (Queens)... but on an American Television show - have you ever seen a gay wedding being stopped by another man?!?!? i find that really sweet and groundbreaking... i find sooo many instances when that happened on a straight wedding - it's refreshing to see that it is our turn to ruin the ceremony and not just plan one for the breeders. i am sooo looking forward to that episode.. and i love love love Ron Carlivati!!!! i hope he wins an emmy! and kyle is sooo effing gourgeous! (except for that picture posted - that hat bothers me).. they are so cute together. i love you nick... but KISH are meant to be together.
Markie, I think it's more than a guy breaking up a marriage between two guys. It's the whole story. Dorian pretending to be a lesbian. Nick and Kyle not really knowing each other long enough to be getting married...especially when the spoilers reveal he still has feelings for Oliver. Kyle even saying yes when it's already been told in spoilers he still has feelings for Oliver. Marriage not even being legal...making the ceremony even more silly.
I think if it was just a wedding between Nick and Kyle, next summer, and Oliver came to his senses and tried to break them up...that would be a different story.

The mass wedding idea is a crazy one but a soap worthy one. Kyle and Nick getting married this soon is nutty but we haven't seen the inbetween storyline yet. For me, if the Kyle/Nick/Oliver storyline can rival the Todd/Blair/TBTD one, bring it on! I think we have to wait and see what unfolds. Dorian marrying a woman though is a little suspect though and will need to follow a fine line. Now if the woman she is marrying is a strong character too and is as good a manipulator as Dorian, I welcome it. Sure a scheming lesbian is not a great stereotype but seeing her face off against David Vickers would be great! Let's just hope they protect Nick here. It would be great to see him stay on.

Nothing officially gay happened today, so Michael gave snicks the afternoon to you, know, have a life, eat, change his underwear - I think.
Though when Jack busted out the line about his momma sounding "like someone was strangling a unicorn" I laughed so hard people came to check on me. And Todd corrected his very gay choice of "unicorn" with "cat" and a strange look.

While I can't wait to see Kyle, Oliver and Nick later this week because it promises to be great, it's great that I enjoy this show as a whole so their not being around isn't too bothersome. And well, it has only been 2 episodes, 3 counting later today. And we get to see John and Brody today so there's that.
Unfortunately, the focus has been on my least favorite storyline (Todd/Tea/Blair). It's one of those triangles where I could care less who gets Todd cause Todd is no prize. There were a few nice treasures though. I loved the Cris and Layla scenes and I was shocked at how much I enjoyed Sky and Kim's scenes yesterday. And I do like Blair and Ross as a potential something. And I don't know if I can say it on this website, but I was amazed at what an incredible body Blair has. The actress clearly takes care of herself.
I just love how easily the writers deal with the guys on "FoQ" and how liberal (if you consider American shows) they are! Great show!

Ok Anthony, you didn't knock Noah so you get nothing but love from me today. Forbidden Love and Nuke and Eastenders are my favorite soaps right now. Even thou I have watched them all at one time or another. I think Thore S. is one of the hotest man on this planet. I think Jake Silbermann is the next hottest and John Patridge is the next.
I can't but agree with you that Thore, Jake and John are three of the hottest soap guys out there. I don't think I'd put them in the same order, but you've got good taste.
Física o química aired two episodes in their first week (tomorrow is the third), and David was a lot less slutty in the second, in fact he was worry about coming out to his parents, he want to do it for Fer (i think he is far more commited to the relationship that he showed in the first episode) but finally they decided to postpone the coming out. Fer and Gorka are a really good comic couple.
I don't think Noah's absence will be more than a couple or three weeks, because they are airing the pre recorded material once a week. I don't know the final result of the re writing, but i'm glad they are doing it. The love triangle doesn't work, Mason is not a rootable character, but i think he can be a great evil one. Love triangles are very difficult to do, even Nick in OLTL, who is far more likeable than Mason, seems nothing more than a simple obstacle to the kish relationship (but maybe this could change because they are giving him more importance, giving him a job). I think ATWT is gonna use Luke more in his family storylines. They need to start use Luke and Noah in other storylines at the same time they have their own Nuke one.
And about the spoiler of OLTL, i really don't like it. It's like taking gay marriage as a joke, and i don't see any reason why Kyle and Nick get married, they are dating only for a month and it's obvious that Kyle is still in love with Oliver. Maybe in the screen it works better than the spoiler indicate, i hope so
I wanted to include the second episode of FOQ in this week's GOOL Theatre, but by the time it had been subtitled, my deadline had passed. I'll have in in next week. I'm loving the new season so far.
As for Noah, I don't know how long he'll be gone. At first, I had heard it was a month, then less than that. If the show is post taping scenes then it's possible he may not be missed much, if at all. But given that the actor made a statement to appease worried fans, there must be some sort of abscense coming. I just felt that I should just report what's out there and what I'm hearing.
It's too bad the show never went the love triangle route. I know fans don't think it's necessary, but every soap couple has been challenged by a third party. It's a soap staple. I see no reason why they should be different. One Life to Life seems to have no problem throwing a third guy in the mix with Kyle and Oliver and the story is better for it.
I don't think OLTL is going to treat gay marriage like a joke. I think that's the last thing they are going to do. If anything they're going to point out that it's a joke that gay folks can't get married. And they're going to do so on a large scale. Kudos to them for taking the risk. But, I believe at it's core, the story is going to be about Kyle and Oliver's relationship and if they can make it work out. Or if Kyle is going to move on with Nick.
OLTL is doing a great job writing their gay characters, and it will be a pity spoil that with that storyline. I think all the gay marriage storyline has the potential to be great or a total disaster, it depends of how it'll be writen.
I think, the love triangle is quite easy in a straight relationship, because they could use as third a regular character, someone viewers care about even before he is introduced in the couple storyline. With a gay couple is more difficult, because usually soaps have no more than two gay characters. And even Nick is far more interesting as a third one, i can't see him more than an obstacle to kish being together. I think he has potential as character, but the gay couple is decided from the begining.
I think Mason could be the classic evil character that everybody loves to hate. It'll be funny to act for Forbes March, and it'll a lot more funny than this triangle nonsense. If they want a third for Luke and Noah, they better look for someone of their age, they introduce him to Luke and Noah, test the chemistry between the actors, use him in a couple of storylines, and only when people like the character and care about him, make him being interested in one of the guys.
I know Jake was on vacation for a month (it seems it was due to the rewrite of their storyline), Van was recording in other storylines. But i think his absence on screen it'll be shorter (maybe i'm wrong), because he will be next week and the storyline peak in november (they'll promised more airtime for Nuke in november), And about Jake telling their fans that he stays on the show, well, there are always rumours about him (or even Van) leaving ATWT (and the lack of screen time doesn't help) so probably he want to calm his fans
The proposed storyline on One Life to Live is a terrible idea. It has the potential to turn what has been a very personal coming out and finding true love story into a three ring circus. I hope they change their minds before it's too late.
If you don't like something that hasn't aired yet on OLTL, then there's always ATWT. That Ameera storyline where it depicted authentically and beautifully (NOT!!!!) the first Iraqi Muslim woman in U.S. daytime was hot - a HOT FREAKING MESS and not a 20-ring circus at all. And Noah's coming out storyline was done to perfection too (NOT, NOT, NOT!!!).
PUH-LEEZE.
I don't think anything OLTL can come up with will be anywhere nearly as bad as the crap that poor Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann have been FORCED TO PLAY (save for 1 or 3 stories) for over the last 2 years.
.. that the last few months of Kyle and Oliver has been much better in terms of writing, story and acting than the last almost three years of Luke and Noah. At least in my opinion. Unfortunately, the show has given viewers so little in terms of quality stories. It continues to amaze me the show has managed to hang on to the fans after treating them so badly and continuing to insult them with the material they put out. I know the actors are excited about the upcoming story, but it's not like we haven't heard this before. They were 'excited' about the Ameera storyline too. And the return of Col. Mayer was supposed to be a good one IIRC. I'm hoping for the best, but I don't trust this show to do anything but disappoint anymore.
As for OLTL, all we've heard and read about has been taped and in the can. OLTL tapes about 2 months in advance these days. So all we can do is hope for the best. Me, I'm waiting in pins and needles!
I have some catching up to do on FOQ! That Adrian Rodriguez fella makes for one tasty David! But what a slut! I love it. If only my high school were like that... I am hooked.
Things are shaping up nicely over at AWZ. Deniz is doing the groveling routine quite convincingly, and Roman being unmoved is must-see TV (ONE LIFE TO LIVE's Oliver should take notes from Deniz).
Loving EASTENDERS as well. I can't wait for the big reveal outing Syed and his wannabe Brokeback Mountain ways. Now if we could only see some more kissing and an actual bed scene or two between Syed and Christian...
It's sad when Nuke have the worst story on ATWT these days. Even Meg has become more watchable now that the character is being played as a bitch instead of a succubus. Either Luke or Noah or both maybe need to turn into megabitches?
I for one cannot wait to see what happens on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. I think it's going to be a hoot, and I reserve judgment on the Dorian angle of that storyline until I see what plays out. Given the nature of the story and Dorian's scorched earth campaign tactics, it should be interesting and funny and I'm sure Robin Strasser is the right woman to steer Dorian through this upcoming plot. I have no doubt that the Knick angle will be fine as it's sounding like a nice, soapy triangle right there.
Oh, and I DEMAND that OLTL have a Karaoke episode posthaste! GENERAL HOSPITAL had a Karaoke episode today and their singers were awful. I want a knock out, drag down, sing off between Scott Evans's Oliver (whose singing voice was put to good use in MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING) and Nicholas Rodriguez's Nick with Brett Claywell's Kyle as their captive audience. Throw in Mark Lawson's Brody as well, and I'll be in heaven! It'll be reminiscent of when Renee Goldsberry's Evangeline sang for Michael Easton's John McBain's affections. BTW, I don't think I've ever seen McBain smile as much as he did when he had his heart-to-heart with Oliver. For a change, I didn't want McBain to drop dead.
Finally, I believe Mr. Claywell has a thing for those caps. There are several shots of him on the web wearing them and he seems to like that particular headwear. I prefer the no-cap look but he's handsome no matter what he wears on his noggin.
They actually let Syed and Christian kiss on yesterday's show. Of course, it was only so someone could see them making out. Not because they're a couple in love or anything. It's too bad because they are a pretty hot couple and turning up the sexual heat could only help.
I want to see those OLTL boys sing too. Having a fella serenade his boyfriend would be way cool. And something I could see OLTL doing.

As for caps, I saw a photoshoot with BC and he does like them as he wears them in several pictures. Like you, I prefer the uncapped look..... but he's still a handsome fella no matter what I must agree.
I have to admit I'm not watching ATWT these days unless the boys are on. And that's no fun anymore. I actually only can afford to watch one soap daily just because I enjoy it and not for the purposes of this column. That is OLTL these days. But when I do catch Meg, I love that they are writing her as a bitch. It's who she is born to be.
I'm looking forward to the OLTL plot play out, even though I'm a little nervous. But..... these writers haven't let me down yet. I think it'll be a nice blend of angsty romance for Oliver/Kyle/Nick and camp with Dorian and David. Besides, you just know the cliffhanger for that Friday will be what goes down with Kyle, Nick and Oliver. You gotta love a soap for that.
I love reading up on all the latest SOAPY gossip. I'm quite enjoying EastEnders at the moment. And of course i'm glued to VL even though Ollian demand a decent story at this point. But i'll trust what Jo Weil said...he and Thore are presently taping an exciting new storyline. I look forward to it with finger's crossed
.... I'm also well aware, as you are, that L/N have been around for far longer than Kyle and Oliver. Will K/O's first smooch net as many views as L/N? Who knows? And really, who cares? This is not a competition. There's room for both couples... and more if daytime should choose to have them. The more the merrier. We should be celebrating all these couples and gay characters.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I want nothing more for L/N to give their fans solid storytelling, skillful acting and strong and intelligent writing. But until they do, I will continue to point out that I feel that they aren't. What amazes me is how many fans that seems to upset as I'm only pointing out what many of them are thinking. Nothing will get better and nothing will change by remaining silent and only complaining amongst yourselves.
Just like all those fans fought to get the boys to be able to kiss, they should be campaigning for better stories, IMO. As I pointed out in my column this week, it's nice that they got a (rare) kiss this past week. But it matters little if you can barely stand to watch all that came before it.

To be fair to the show, even as time-compressed as soap pregnancies can be (or in Y&R stretched), they've got a long time before Fish can deal with Stacy and the guppy. They haven't even fitted her with a fake belly yet, and I'm guessing to heighten the Rex/GiGi/Schuyler thing (which they brought back to the front yesterday), you won't get a real paternity test until the baby is born.
So we've got to fill the months with something.

i am wondering why people are so worried or being disappointed about OLTL's gay wedding episode... i mean - it hasn't been done before - all i remember that happening was on a Spanish movie called "Reinas" (Queens)... but on an American Television show - have you ever seen a gay wedding being stopped by another man?!?!? i find that really sweet and groundbreaking... i find sooo many instances when that happened on a straight wedding - it's refreshing to see that it is our turn to ruin the ceremony and not just plan one for the breeders. i am sooo looking forward to that episode.. and i love love love Ron Carlivati!!!! i hope he wins an emmy! and kyle is sooo effing gourgeous! (except for that picture posted - that hat bothers me).. they are so cute together. i love you nick... but KISH are meant to be together.

Markie, I think it's more than a guy breaking up a marriage between two guys. It's the whole story. Dorian pretending to be a lesbian. Nick and Kyle not really knowing each other long enough to be getting married...especially when the spoilers reveal he still has feelings for Oliver. Kyle even saying yes when it's already been told in spoilers he still has feelings for Oliver. Marriage not even being legal...making the ceremony even more silly.
I think if it was just a wedding between Nick and Kyle, next summer, and Oliver came to his senses and tried to break them up...that would be a different story.

The mass wedding idea is a crazy one but a soap worthy one. Kyle and Nick getting married this soon is nutty but we haven't seen the inbetween storyline yet. For me, if the Kyle/Nick/Oliver storyline can rival the Todd/Blair/TBTD one, bring it on! I think we have to wait and see what unfolds. Dorian marrying a woman though is a little suspect though and will need to follow a fine line. Now if the woman she is marrying is a strong character too and is as good a manipulator as Dorian, I welcome it. Sure a scheming lesbian is not a great stereotype but seeing her face off against David Vickers would be great! Let's just hope they protect Nick here. It would be great to see him stay on.

Though when Jack busted out the line about his momma sounding "like someone was strangling a unicorn" I laughed so hard people came to check on me. And Todd corrected his very gay choice of "unicorn" with "cat" and a strange look.

Bummer really! Because I washed the sheets, cleaned, emptied the trash, changed sheets, fed the cat, had dinner, folded up dried laundry etc. just so I could be ready for 8pm (that's 2pm on tge Eastern Coast US - when OLTL airs) and eagerly awaiting Anthony's uploading of KISH scenes..

While I can't wait to see Kyle, Oliver and Nick later this week because it promises to be great, it's great that I enjoy this show as a whole so their not being around isn't too bothersome. And well, it has only been 2 episodes, 3 counting later today. And we get to see John and Brody today so there's that.
Unfortunately, the focus has been on my least favorite storyline (Todd/Tea/Blair). It's one of those triangles where I could care less who gets Todd cause Todd is no prize. There were a few nice treasures though. I loved the Cris and Layla scenes and I was shocked at how much I enjoyed Sky and Kim's scenes yesterday. And I do like Blair and Ross as a potential something. And I don't know if I can say it on this website, but I was amazed at what an incredible body Blair has. The actress clearly takes care of herself.

Física o química aired two episodes in their first week (tomorrow is the third), and David was a lot less slutty in the second, in fact he was worry about coming out to his parents, he want to do it for Fer (i think he is far more commited to the relationship that he showed in the first episode) but finally they decided to postpone the coming out. Fer and Gorka are a really good comic couple.
I don't think Noah's absence will be more than a couple or three weeks, because they are airing the pre recorded material once a week. I don't know the final result of the re writing, but i'm glad they are doing it. The love triangle doesn't work, Mason is not a rootable character, but i think he can be a great evil one. Love triangles are very difficult to do, even Nick in OLTL, who is far more likeable than Mason, seems nothing more than a simple obstacle to the kish relationship (but maybe this could change because they are giving him more importance, giving him a job). I think ATWT is gonna use Luke more in his family storylines. They need to start use Luke and Noah in other storylines at the same time they have their own Nuke one.
And about the spoiler of OLTL, i really don't like it. It's like taking gay marriage as a joke, and i don't see any reason why Kyle and Nick get married, they are dating only for a month and it's obvious that Kyle is still in love with Oliver. Maybe in the screen it works better than the spoiler indicate, i hope so

I wanted to include the second episode of FOQ in this week's GOOL Theatre, but by the time it had been subtitled, my deadline had passed. I'll have in in next week. I'm loving the new season so far.
As for Noah, I don't know how long he'll be gone. At first, I had heard it was a month, then less than that. If the show is post taping scenes then it's possible he may not be missed much, if at all. But given that the actor made a statement to appease worried fans, there must be some sort of abscense coming. I just felt that I should just report what's out there and what I'm hearing.
It's too bad the show never went the love triangle route. I know fans don't think it's necessary, but every soap couple has been challenged by a third party. It's a soap staple. I see no reason why they should be different. One Life to Life seems to have no problem throwing a third guy in the mix with Kyle and Oliver and the story is better for it.
I don't think OLTL is going to treat gay marriage like a joke. I think that's the last thing they are going to do. If anything they're going to point out that it's a joke that gay folks can't get married. And they're going to do so on a large scale. Kudos to them for taking the risk. But, I believe at it's core, the story is going to be about Kyle and Oliver's relationship and if they can make it work out. Or if Kyle is going to move on with Nick.

OLTL is doing a great job writing their gay characters, and it will be a pity spoil that with that storyline. I think all the gay marriage storyline has the potential to be great or a total disaster, it depends of how it'll be writen.
I think, the love triangle is quite easy in a straight relationship, because they could use as third a regular character, someone viewers care about even before he is introduced in the couple storyline. With a gay couple is more difficult, because usually soaps have no more than two gay characters. And even Nick is far more interesting as a third one, i can't see him more than an obstacle to kish being together. I think he has potential as character, but the gay couple is decided from the begining.
I think Mason could be the classic evil character that everybody loves to hate. It'll be funny to act for Forbes March, and it'll a lot more funny than this triangle nonsense. If they want a third for Luke and Noah, they better look for someone of their age, they introduce him to Luke and Noah, test the chemistry between the actors, use him in a couple of storylines, and only when people like the character and care about him, make him being interested in one of the guys.
I know Jake was on vacation for a month (it seems it was due to the rewrite of their storyline), Van was recording in other storylines. But i think his absence on screen it'll be shorter (maybe i'm wrong), because he will be next week and the storyline peak in november (they'll promised more airtime for Nuke in november), And about Jake telling their fans that he stays on the show, well, there are always rumours about him (or even Van) leaving ATWT (and the lack of screen time doesn't help) so probably he want to calm his fans

If you don't like something that hasn't aired yet on OLTL, then there's always ATWT. That Ameera storyline where it depicted authentically and beautifully (NOT!!!!) the first Iraqi Muslim woman in U.S. daytime was hot - a HOT FREAKING MESS and not a 20-ring circus at all. And Noah's coming out storyline was done to perfection too (NOT, NOT, NOT!!!).
PUH-LEEZE.
I don't think anything OLTL can come up with will be anywhere nearly as bad as the crap that poor Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann have been FORCED TO PLAY (save for 1 or 3 stories) for over the last 2 years.
There's No Doubt In My Mind.....
.. that the last few months of Kyle and Oliver has been much better in terms of writing, story and acting than the last almost three years of Luke and Noah. At least in my opinion. Unfortunately, the show has given viewers so little in terms of quality stories. It continues to amaze me the show has managed to hang on to the fans after treating them so badly and continuing to insult them with the material they put out. I know the actors are excited about the upcoming story, but it's not like we haven't heard this before. They were 'excited' about the Ameera storyline too. And the return of Col. Mayer was supposed to be a good one IIRC. I'm hoping for the best, but I don't trust this show to do anything but disappoint anymore.
As for OLTL, all we've heard and read about has been taped and in the can. OLTL tapes about 2 months in advance these days. So all we can do is hope for the best. Me, I'm waiting in pins and needles!

Things are shaping up nicely over at AWZ. Deniz is doing the groveling routine quite convincingly, and Roman being unmoved is must-see TV (ONE LIFE TO LIVE's Oliver should take notes from Deniz).
Loving EASTENDERS as well. I can't wait for the big reveal outing Syed and his wannabe Brokeback Mountain ways. Now if we could only see some more kissing and an actual bed scene or two between Syed and Christian...
It's sad when Nuke have the worst story on ATWT these days. Even Meg has become more watchable now that the character is being played as a bitch instead of a succubus. Either Luke or Noah or both maybe need to turn into megabitches?
I for one cannot wait to see what happens on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. I think it's going to be a hoot, and I reserve judgment on the Dorian angle of that storyline until I see what plays out. Given the nature of the story and Dorian's scorched earth campaign tactics, it should be interesting and funny and I'm sure Robin Strasser is the right woman to steer Dorian through this upcoming plot. I have no doubt that the Knick angle will be fine as it's sounding like a nice, soapy triangle right there.
Oh, and I DEMAND that OLTL have a Karaoke episode posthaste! GENERAL HOSPITAL had a Karaoke episode today and their singers were awful. I want a knock out, drag down, sing off between Scott Evans's Oliver (whose singing voice was put to good use in MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING) and Nicholas Rodriguez's Nick with Brett Claywell's Kyle as their captive audience. Throw in Mark Lawson's Brody as well, and I'll be in heaven! It'll be reminiscent of when Renee Goldsberry's Evangeline sang for Michael Easton's John McBain's affections. BTW, I don't think I've ever seen McBain smile as much as he did when he had his heart-to-heart with Oliver. For a change, I didn't want McBain to drop dead.
Finally, I believe Mr. Claywell has a thing for those caps. There are several shots of him on the web wearing them and he seems to like that particular headwear. I prefer the no-cap look but he's handsome no matter what he wears on his noggin.

They actually let Syed and Christian kiss on yesterday's show. Of course, it was only so someone could see them making out. Not because they're a couple in love or anything. It's too bad because they are a pretty hot couple and turning up the sexual heat could only help.

But when I do catch Meg, I love that they are writing her as a bitch. It's who she is born to be.
I'm looking forward to the OLTL plot play out, even though I'm a little nervous. But..... these writers haven't let me down yet. I think it'll be a nice blend of angsty romance for Oliver/Kyle/Nick and camp with Dorian and David. Besides, you just know the cliffhanger for that Friday will be what goes down with Kyle, Nick and Oliver. You gotta love a soap for that.

I'm Well Aware Of Those Stats...
.... I'm also well aware, as you are, that L/N have been around for far longer than Kyle and Oliver. Will K/O's first smooch net as many views as L/N? Who knows? And really, who cares? This is not a competition. There's room for both couples... and more if daytime should choose to have them. The more the merrier. We should be celebrating all these couples and gay characters.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I want nothing more for L/N to give their fans solid storytelling, skillful acting and strong and intelligent writing. But until they do, I will continue to point out that I feel that they aren't. What amazes me is how many fans that seems to upset as I'm only pointing out what many of them are thinking. Nothing will get better and nothing will change by remaining silent and only complaining amongst yourselves.
Just like all those fans fought to get the boys to be able to kiss, they should be campaigning for better stories, IMO. As I pointed out in my column this week, it's nice that they got a (rare) kiss this past week. But it matters little if you can barely stand to watch all that came before it.
