The Ran Quadruplet

Boy, I’m lucky nobody was home when I watched this show this week…

Soaps don’t surprise me that often. Between the spoilers and my years of watching them, I usually know what’s coming up long before it happens. So I love it when a show managed to put one over on me. And I so did not see Eytan leaving his wife coming. But the well-acted scene played out beautifully as we discovered that Eytan never wanted to get married (though you’d think his refusal to come out of his house for a half hour would be a sign, but I digress). I truly did not think he was leaving until he reached behind the TV and pulled out the suitcase. It was quite the powerful, dramatic moment, and I screamed something out loud that I can’t say on a family website such as this. Needless to say, the scene made quite an impact on me and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Eytan left both his wife… and me… stunned.
