GOOL THEATER

Rich Kids, Poor Parents

It’s really strange that I’m enjoying this story despite it’s obvious flaws: most notably the bad writing, acting and that ever present annoying background music. But the boys’ unwavering devotion to each other and Diego's determination to be there for Santiago wins me over with its sweetness and innocence. The scene where Diego forced Santiago to go back to school despite his handicap and continue with his life as best he could was a winner.

The guys try to make light of their particular problem…

I thought Santiago’s ‘I’m the crippled gay boy’ speech was a bit over the top, but addressing the issue of a lack of facilities for the handicapped was a nice touch. As for the other plots that drifted throughout this clip, I have to admit that I really didn’t understand much of what was going on as I don’t watch the complete show. But it’s good that the gay characters have some involvement in other plotlines.

*THANKS TO SANDIEGOSUBS FOR THE CLIPS!
