Gays of our Lives (December 9, 2008)Casualty - This week Toby is still terrified of people finding out or even thinking he’s gay, even though Ruth assures him that neither she nor anyone else cares who he is sleeping with. But Toby’s anxiety, combined with an intense confrontation with Ben, lead a well-meaning Ruth to believe that Ben coerced or seduced his patient into the sack. She reports Ben to the hospital brass and he is summarily suspended, leaving Toby in a quandary about what to do.
Hollyoaks’ Stephen Uppal (Ravi) Hollyoaks - Despite Russ’ best attempts to interfere, bisexual Ravi is back with Nancy. With his love life on the mend for now, Ravi gets involved with family problems. Dinner at the Roy house gets ugly when they discover that Ravi’s sister Leila has been keeping a secret. As if that weren’t bad enough, the Roys become the target of racial attacks. Meanwhile, you haven’t seen the last of Kris’ (Gerard McCarthy) mother. She’ll be turning up in town before the year is out.
Luke (Van
Hansis) pays Carolyn Wheatley (Marcia McCabe) a visit. As The World Turns - The men in Luke Snyder’s life continue to cause him pain and heartache this week on ATWT. Luke tracks down Brian’s ex-wife and hopes she will be able to give him some ammunition to get Brian out of his life for good. But does what she has to say answer any of Luke’s questions or leave him even more confused?
Luke must deal with an angry Brian who confronts him about talking to his former wife. Later, Luke touches base with Noah and lets him know what's going on. The two boys find themselves growing closer, giving Luke hope for a reunion. Later, the two attend Jack's engagment party, but when Luke presses Noah about getting back together, Noah's isn't interested and leaves. As if that weren't bad enough, Luke has to deal with a sauced Brian, who has enjoyed himself way too much at the celebration leaving Luke trapped into carting his drunk sexual harasser back to the Lily-pad. Once there, Brian (who at some point slips into a robe!) puts the moves on Luke. Taking a page from his former boyfriend, Luke rejects his persistent suitors advances and then warns Brian that if this ever happens again, he'll tell Lucinda the whole ugly story. And the week of Dec. 17th, Luke’s cousin Jade is back in town. Is she bringing her trademark trouble with her?
Or is she stepping into a mess with her BFF Luke? And why is she at the police station with Holden and Lily?
