"The Amazing Race" (15.6) recap: "Do It For The 'Hood, Do It For The Suburbs"

Is it wrong that I laughed at someone's torment?

That's the question I had to ask myself after this week's elimination. Well, I decided that it's not right ... but it's okay.

What could possibly make me quote a Whitney Houston song? Read on to find out!

We start with Malibu Ken and Barbie (Cheyne and Meghan) getting a huge headstart (by a couple of hours), which will turn out to be insurmountable (seriously, some team needs to catch up to them, because I'm tired of seeing them win every week).

The first challenge was to take a locked briefcase, travel by taxi to the Dubai Creek Yacht and Golf Club, and search for their next clue.

Once at the marina, one team member had to row an inflatable raft to a yacht offshore where they would find a sheik who would present them with a watch (which apparently is the Arab custom for hospitality).

After they rowed back to shore, they had to figure out that the fixed time on the watch (8:35) was also the three-number combination to the briefcase, and opening it would give them their next clue.

Unfortunately some teams were obviously dingy-challenged, because Brian ended up with a bloody hand, Gary flipped over on his stomach and paddled it like a canoe, and both Big Easy and Dan paddled backwards ... with their arms.
