"The Amazing Race" (15.9) Recap: "We're Not Meant for the Swamp"
Blurred naughty bits, "hottie Estonian guys", and the now immortal words "Are you the candelabra?" make this another highly entertaining leg of The Amazing Race.
Sam and Dan begin in fourth place, and after last week's hot shouting match, they promise to be kinder and gentler towards each other. Ha!
The teams are instructed to catch a ferry from Stockholm to Tallinn, Estonia, which affords the last place teams a chance to catch up, and all the racers arrive in Estonia at the same time.
The Roadblock involves a secret society called Brotherhood of the Blackheads, which I think is sponsored by Clearasil. ZING! Anyway, the racers have to hunt through an old tower looking for a candelabra with a room number, which will lead them to a parchment with their next clue.
Easy enough ... right?
"Oh Matt".
That's what I found myself saying as I watched Matt's cringe-inducing hunt for the elusive treasure. I like Matt and his dad, so it was painful watching the kid walk around asking people "Are you the candelabra?" But it was also freaking hysterical.
After the roadblock everyone heads to the Detour, where they have to choose between working a slingshot to knock over a target ... or stripping to their underwear and playing mud volleyball. Did I mention how much i love this show?
