"Brothers & Sisters" Episode 203 Recap: “History Repeating”Previously on Brothers & Sisters… A bunch of stuff all covered in prior recaps, but the highlight is a brief shot of Kevin shirtless. It takes so little to make me happy…
The episode begins for real in the Walker mansion bathroom where Kevin, now shirted unfortunately, is giving Justin a bubble bath. I kid you not. Oh, if only these two weren’t related. Further dampening the mood is the first shot of Justin’s waterpruned leg. What is this, Brothers & Sisters or My
Justin is in a great deal of pain from his shattered knee cap. Either that or the water’s way too cold, as he’s whimpering a lot. Kevin: You okay? Then I guess you won’t be interested in that floral shower cap Kevin’s picked out for you.
Kevin fiddles with the CD player and puts some new age-y music on. It’s heavy on the harp and the sitar and Justin’s not pleased. He yells at Kevin to go get a CD off his dresser. What’s he looking for, something patriotic? Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the U.S.A. maybe? While Kevin is retrieving another CD, Rebecca barges in to get her toothbrush. She shields her eyes but can’t help but notice the bubble bath. Cut to downstairs kitchen. Kevin walks in and Nora asks how Justin’s doing. Kevin says “okay, but ornery.” Kevin: Is he really not taking any medication? He’s gonna need something a lot stiffer for that Wham CD. Nora explains that Justin is going against doctor’s orders. They want him completely drugged out – all this pain is interfering with his recovery. Nora: He’s not sleeping. He’s not resting. He’s just not getting better. Enter Sarah who’s on her cell phone with daughter Paige. Apparently the little diabetic imp is giving her mother some sass. Sarah gives her sass right back and hangs up. Sarah: Yeah, I got the mother of the year all sewn up. Sarah asks how Justin’s doing and then exits stage left – Never to be seen in this episode again. Cut to Senator McAllister and Kitty making out in what looks like an underground bunker. What, are they making a campaign stop in the land of the mole people? Nope, it’s actually the underground storage facility of some chemical plant. Kitty can’t get over how good McAllister smells. Must be that Savage Tan cocoa butter.
