"Brothers & Sisters" Episode 207 Recap: “36 Hours”

Then he goes after Kevin….

Justin: What are you now, like 35 years old? Have you ever had a relationship that’s lasted longer than three weeks? You walk around in your suit and tie pretending that you’re a man, but really you’re just a scared little boy.
Kevin: Actually, I have a boyfriend, and I have for quite awhile now…

….The secret to our success? He lives in Malaysia and never answers my calls.

Justin: …big freaking whoop.

Then Justin sees Holly.

Justin: …..and what is she doing here?

Great question. I was wondering that myself.

Holly: I’m here for my daughter.
Justin: In case you haven’t noticed, she’s been living here all summer. Wishing she was a Walker. You too are exactly alike. You’ll do anything. No I’m sorry — screw anyone to be a part of this family!

Rebecca and Holly quickly depart. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the intervention.

Funny, as we’re watching this scene Justin’s eyes get redder and redder and his face becomes mottled and sweaty. What, is Stan Winston doing his makeup for this scene? It’s like we’re watching American Werewolf in London and any second Justin is going to sprout fangs and claws.

Justin tries to leave too, but Sarah and Kevin block him at the door. Actual violence might ensue — and for a second Justin does some actual sissy fighting with Sarah — who could so take him.

Things are getting ugly real quick, but Kitty jumps up from the couch and screams for everybody to “stop it!”

Kitty: Justin, if you walk out the door I am changing the locks. And if you come back on the property I’m going to call the police, because believe me I would rather see you in jail than see you like this.

Justin says he’s on pain medication for just that — the pain. Kitty tells him they all know he doesn’t need it for the pain any more. He tells her to get off her high horse.

Justin: Why don't you just... just...
Kitty: What?

Kitty seems to be the only Walker that Justin doesn’t have some venom for. He’s racking his brain for something crushing to say to hurt her but he’s coming up empty.

Here’s a suggestion. Try: “You got bony fingers!” But he can’t do it.

Kitty: What is it, because I’m here! I’m bleeding and I’m aching because I just had a miscarriage, but I’m here and I’m dealing with you, and I’m dealing with your addiction. So what is it? What is it, tell me tell me what it is I’m doing that isn’t all about how much I love you? Come on!

Justin is still at a loss for a comeback. I’ve got it. Tell her her hair is thinning! That’ll get her goat!

But Justin still comes up scratch, and the wind comes out of him like a whoopee cushion. He says he needs some air, but they won’t let him go outside.

Sarah: No. We’re gonna deal with this right here, right now.

…and afterwards we can play the parlor games and roast those s’mores.
