“Brothers & Sisters” Episode 210 Recap: “Feast of the Epiphany”Cut to Holly’s house. Holly is getting ready for work and Rebecca comes in with groceries. Rebecca asks her mom to bring home a couple bottles of wine because she wants to cook her dinner.
Holly: What’s the occasion? Hence, I’m going to invite a guy over who you clearly don’t want to have anything to do with.
Cut to McAllister’s office where Kitty, Mumbles and McAllister are jogging down the hall like one of those tracking shots on the West Wing. Only B&S must have a much smaller set because towards the end of the scene they run out of hallway and have to sort of shuffle in place.
Travis scurries up to the shuffling herd with a Sprint videophone (can you say product placement?). He has video of McAllister’s main competitor, Governor Adamson, responding to the town hall meeting.
Adamson: (on videophone) …I don’t buy the Senator’s reluctant hero schtick. The only thing he’s reluctant to do is tell the truth. Mumbles reaches over and shuts off the video in disgust. Mumbles: Issh time frew frew shu front page. Huh? You lost me there Mumbles. Kitty wants to know if they have any dirt on Governor Adamson. McAllister: Adamson has a developmentally disabled son. He’s been in a private treatment facility since birth and Adamson has never publicly recognized him. Kitty is shocked that nobody told her about this. But do they ever tell her anything? She has to be the most ineffectual campaign communications director ever. Kitty: That guy’s record for special education and persons with disabilities — it’s atrocious. It’s the height of hypocrisy. Wait, she knows she's a Republican right? Mumbles and Kitty want to go public with the news about Adamson’s son, but McAllister is against it.
McAllister: I’m not gonna use his kids. What do you wanna bet the special need is he can’t understand a word you’re saying? Kitty, Mumbles and Travis all push hard for McAllister to go public with the Adamson dirt, but he won’t change his mind. Submitted by on Tue, 2008-01-15 22:19. |
