"Brothers & Sisters" Recap Episode 215: "Moral Hazard"

Meanwhile, in the Walker boardroom, Nora and Sarah are asking Tommy and Holly for help. Tommy snatches the first opportunity to bare his fangs at Sarah, and obviously it's just payback for the multitude of noogies and punch bugs that Sarah subjected him to as a kid. Nora plays the referee (which is a shame as I think Tommy needs a good neck snap). Holly interjects herself into a Walker situation (again!), and tells Sarah to get a proposal together, and they'll consider it. But when she twirls her mustache and cackles, you just know she's up to something.

"Kevin Walker, the Perv Whisperer"

Cut to Kevin and Justin in Kevin's office, and he's getting Sarah's proposal ready for Justin to take over, and Justin is like "Bro, I'm a freak". Kevin agrees, just on principle, and Justin then explains why.

Justin: Remember when we went surfing the other day, and you and Tommy accused me of hiding something about Rebecca?
Kevin: Yeah, vaguely.
Justin: There was a minute there when she wasn't sure she was our sister.
Kevin: You mean she's not?
Justin: She is, she took a test. But when I found that out, I was kinda into that idea that she...wasn't
Kevin: Why would you not want her to be part of the family?
Justin: I do...but I wasn't unhappy with the fact that she wasn't.
Kevin: What are you talking about?
Justin: How are you not getting this? I know you're gay, but you have eyes! She's not like...unattractive.

Kevin finally gets it, and is frantically appalled. He warns Justin that he must "wipe it from his mind" or "put it in a box" and never.speak.of.it.again. Justin still wants to explain, but Kevin has seen The Dog Whisperer, and he does a spot-on impression of Cesar Milan's "Shh!" move.

Sarah is wistfully looking at the window, when the vaguely creepy/sleazy Graham comes in with another pep talk, and this is just not his forte'. Sarah lets him know that it's not a good idea to pressure her right now, and taking a hint, leaves with neck intact.

Rebecca comes to the Walker home to drop off a cuisanart, and is surprised to find Justin there. He fumbles and mumbles about his date being canceled, and Rebecca says "Great! now we can go out together!". You can tell Justin is thinking "don't even look at her, just imagine Dick Cheney in a speedo", but Kevin isn't around to "Shh!" him, so he breaks down and says "let's go to a movie!"

Kevin arrives at Sarah's office to go over the details of the proposal, and when he finds out that she hasn't officially fired that "idiot consultant", he goes ballistic. He wants to know how Sarah can still have feelings for him after everything he's done to the company, and Sarah says it was "just a fling", and begs Kevin to find some kind of loophole to help them out. Unfortunately, he can't find anything, and Sarah eyes his neck like a lion tracking a gazelle.

"Side effects may include excessive laying of guilt trips"

Cut to Nora going through old Walker family files, looking for a missing account or something they hadn't thought of to bail out the collective Walker asses, when Saul comes in. Nora starts in on how Sarah has screwed everything up, and that it's so unlike her. Saul finally can't handle the guilt anymore, and confesses that it was all his fault. Nora is astonished, and rushes out to talk to Sarah, but not before twistng the knife in Saul's gut with "My GOD, Saul...what have you done!"

"I pray he hasn't seen Diner"

Justin and Rebecca arrive at the cinemaplex, and have lots of awkward, uncomfortable moments standing in line. Then they go into the theater and have lots of awkward, uncomfortable moments over whose turn it is to buy the popcorn. During the movie, Rebecca runs out of popcorn, and reaches over to grab some of Justin's.

Of course, he flies off the handle because "sharing popcorn" is really a euphemism for banging your sister. He yells at her not to touch him (relax, dude, she's not Alanis Morrissette) and runs out of the theater. She follows and confronts him about why he suddenly doesn't want to hang around with her, as if she's an "annoying tag-along little sister". Finally, he blurts out "You don't feel like my sister!" and admits that he wished they weren't related. He confesses he had a "weird moment" when he thought he had feelings for her. He knows "it was sick and weird, but it was just a moment, and it doesn't help when you're around all the time".

Rebecca looks at him like "Wait a minute...I thought you didn't ask for butter on your popcorn!", and walks out, horrified.
