"Brothers & Sisters" Bonus Recap: The Lost EpisodeJustin haltingly tells Holly he remembers her from a long time ago up at the family ranch in Ojai. When he was a kid he saw her in the “guest cottage” with his Dad. Holly apologizes and assures Justin that they “ended it right after.” (Which we find out later is a total lie.) Holly: He never wanted to hurt anyone. He loved you guys so much. It was a mistake. The worst kind. Justin tells her he knows something about mistakes. He asks if it really was over, how come he saw her the other day at the company (as seen in episode one). Holly: I dropped by last week because he told me he was ill. Justin is shocked because Bill never mentioned it to anyone in the family. Holly thinks that’s because Bill didn’t want to burden them, Holly: He wanted to enjoy you. No tears. Thus explaining Bill’s recent switch to baby shampoo. Justin laments that he made his dad’s last few years a “real pleasure,” but Holly assures him that Papa Bill was very proud of him. Probably for landing that hot, heroin-addicted model girlfriend. Holly: He thought the world of you. Your courage, your heart. He was incredibly proud. Uhm, the greater threat is his getting sucked into the gravitational pull of those twin planets that are Holly’s breasts. Justin, you better fire up those retrojets pronto! ![]() Justin thanks her for talking to him. Before he leaves she asks him for one favor. She says she gave Bill a silver letter opener a long time ago. Holly: If it’s not too much trouble it would mean the world to me to have it back. Because nothing says “touching reminder of a dead lover” like an old letter opener. Cut to a television soundstage where Kitty is meeting for the first time with the producer of Red White & Blue. He’s telling her how delighted he is that she’s joining. He probably first considered Ann Coulter for the gig-- but she’s such a loose cannon. Or stool. Kitty was a safer bet. ![]() Kitty wants to hash out important stuff like show format, discussion topics, etc. But the overeager producer’s assistant interrupts to tell her they need to focus on her image. Producer: We’re going on the air live tomorrow and we want to get your look just right. She said that to Kitty? Oh honey, give it a Restylane. Kitty may not be Joan Rivers or anything, but she’s certainly been “freshened up” a bit. The producers tell Kitty not to worry, they are going to set her up with an image consultant. Assistant: Her name is Lila and you’ll love her. She’s a magician. Which means she’s going to saw you in half. Submitted by on Mon, 2007-09-17 23:20. |
