"Caprica" 1.04 Recap: "Gravedancing"

You know how when you have a crush on someone it's easy to overlook red flags? Like, maybe he chews with his mouth open? Or maybe his mom still does his laundry? Or maybe, on occasion, he engages in a little cold-blooded murder? Apparently I did that with Sam Adama. I was so wrapped up in him and his cute husband and their School for Tauron Miscreants that I forgot about the whole angel of death thing.

When last we left Caprica, Joesph told Sam to kill Amanda Graystone as some kind of cosmic reckoning. Sam was like, "OK, but first I need to cook your son some dinner and help him with his homework." And Joesph was like, "Son? What son?"

So now Sam is staked out outside Graystone Manor, but before he can get legitimately menacing, he (and we) have to listen to Amanda and Daniel squabble with each other and their PR people. Amanda is furious because Daniel is going to "dance on Zoe's grave" on The Tonight Show with Jay Sarno by calling their daughter "troubled." Daniel wants to know how, exactly, that is worse than going on live television and calling her "terrorist." Amanda is like, "The difference is, I forgot the cameras were there!"

So, that excuse works for crime confessions and celebrity sex tapes? Good to know.

Over at the Soldiers of The One combine, Sister Clarice Voldemort wakes up in bed with a wife and two husbands, crawling all over each other like a box of puppies. Just beyond her reach, Nestor has been up to some sweaty shenanigans. As evidence I present to you:

This look:

These beads of sweat:

And this dialogue: "Am I too sweaty for you?"

(You're welcome. I screencap because I care.)
