Project Runway 406 Recap: "Eye Candy"

I've already mentioned that Elisa herself described her outfit as "disturbing," and it was… a jagged bit of dull brown fabric with some bits of silvery and pink foil at the neckline. Tim commented that "If Elisa’s design had been as interesting as her words portrayed, then she’d have been the winner," and I have to agree, not that I disagree with Tim much anyway.

Lone hetero guy Kevin – who is also bunking alone now that all his roommates have been eliminated – designed a sharp suit that was eminently wearable, beautifully made, and just a bit safe.

I'd like to say Christian's design sucked. Alas, I cannot. It was sexy and clever and if you didn't know it was made of peanut butter cup wrappers (the little brown cups, not the outer packaging), you'd have never guessed. It was wearable, too, at least by a skinny model.

Sweet P's design was a silvery strapless bodice with a flared skirt. She called it cute and light. I had trouble remembering what it looked like from the time I glanced down from the TV to my keyboard.
