Project Runway 407 Recap: "What a Girl Wants"

Next up was Kevin's red halter dress, on his model, Tizi. He described it as daring and well-made. He was wrong.

Jillian Lewis' model Erika floated in wearing a cool blue swoosh of beautifulness with a fishtail hem and spaghetti straps. It fit perfectly. It flowed like water. I'm not at all sure why she wasn't a contender for the win, or at least second place after Sweet P's triumph. And yet, a judge later commented there were only two dresses in the challenge that they all liked, and this wasn't one of them. Help me out here. What did I miss?

I wish I had missed what Christian finally came up with for Maddie. It wasn't well-made, it wasn't flattering, it wasn't fierce. It was a brown poufy disaster. Earlier, he had admitted, "I have no idea how to fix this dress. I literally wanted to rip this dress off and give up." If only it had been so.

Kit was up next, with a royal blue halter dress worn by model Brie. It fit well, was pretty, but it didn't make much of an impression on me either way. Competent, flattering, but nothing special.
