"Project Runway" 6.4 Recap: "What a Woman Wants"

Warning, spoilers ahead! Read no further if you don't want to know what happened on last night's Project Runway.

Last week the designers were paired up and Ra'mon pulled out an unprecedented victory given that his hapless "team leader" Mitchell was sent packing.

Qristyl, who has been in the bottom two a lot, was spared yet another week. Nothing against the woman, but given her questionable personal style and lackluster performance to date, she's beginning to stick out like a sore thumb.

Back at the designer's apartments the guys commiserate over the team challenge, with Epperson complaining about how hard it was to work with Qristyl.

Look in the mirror buddy, you were clearly no slice of heaven yourself.

Nicolas Putvinski piles onto the Qristyl-bashing by throwing up his hands and pronouncing that they "really need to weed out the talentless people." Which is sorta rich considering he's one of them.

It's off to the studio for the week's challenge brief. Heidi comes out wearing yet another animal print. This time it's cheetah. Honestly, Heidi is her own little Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. She tells the designers they've got 13 female clients back in the workroom "who know exactly what they want."

No surprise, but the 13 clients turn out to be their the models. The girls have been invited to an industry party where they need to dress to impress. The models tell their designers their likes and dislikes.

Johnny Sakalis is happy working with his model Anne Marie. "We have the same design aesthetic. It's like designing something for myself... if I was a black girl." Oh Johnny, you kinda are.

By far, the most confusing design request comes from Epperson's model Matar. She goes on in her blunt Israeli accent about how she wants something tiger, punk and orange. Also, "fresh. And not too much. I want something that is like simple but interesting. Not a little girl but kind of like sexy. I want something that will like show my body but not to expose too much. I don't want something too big. Or too long. I just want something tight."

And Epperson thought Qristyl was hard to work with!
