"Project Runway" 6.5 Recap: "Fashion Headliners"

Warning, spoilers ahead! Read no further if you don't want to know what happened on last night's Project Runway.

Last week Qristyl was dismissed for her black formless number that "aged the model fifteen years." I liked Qristyl, but every time I saw her name, I was reminded of Quisp Cereal ... so she had to go.

To tell the truth, I was so disappointed with this week's show. The wrong person won, and while technically, the right person went home, I was hoping someone else would've been cut.

We start with a few of the designers cattily dismissing other designers, and then we focus on Johnny, who says "being in the bottom three is probably the most empty feeling I've ever felt. It's like being punched in the stomach and having all of the air taking out of you."

Today's word kids is foreshadowing.

Heidi Klum gathers the designers together, and tells them they're going on another field trip. She says "this challenge is definitely going to be tough, but the answers will all be in black and white", which for some unknown reason elicits the Gay Gasp™ from Ra'mon.

Tim Gunn meets the designers and informs them that this week's challenge is to create an outfit out of ... newspaper. Everyone half-heartedly "ooh's and ahh's", but you can tell that most of them are saying "Oh crap" to themselves. Tim gives everyone three minutes to gather all the newspaper they can, which results in a hilarious mob scene.
