Ugly Betty Episode 208 Recap: "I See Me, I.C.U."

Yeesh. What do you think she’s up to? The least insane idea I could come up with was she plans to mount the still-warm body, get herself pregnant with the dead man’s still living sperm, and then give birth to a child who, as a biological Meade, would have a rightful claim on Mode. Everything else I thought of is just too crazy. What do you think?

Justin Fabulousness Meter: 2. Bradford’s not the only one flatlining. Justin’s fabulousness remains steady at a dismal 2, since he’s being given so little to do these days. Let’s hope in the episodes that remain he gets to audition for another school play, or work as Hilda’s assistant colorist, or something that will bring out the bitchy queen in him.

"That's one...."

Hmmmm... Another great recap, though I think I enjoyed this episode far more than you did! I have absolutely no idea what on earth Wili was going to do at the morgue; how bizarre. The only thing that I could think of was she was going to get some DNA so that he could be cloned, but how on earth would that help her cause? Very strange...

I started laughing the instant Wili said "That's one" back in the offices, because I remembered this counting reference from the story The Magician" ('til death do us part). It was on a record I loved when I was a kid, called Alfred Hitchcock: Ghost Stories for Young People. Man, that shows my age...

"Nobody makes it to three..."

Excellent reference with the Hitchcock story. I'll have to try to track that down. If it's half as scary as Wili's delivery of those lines it should be great. And also an interesting theory about the DNA. I really can't figure out what she's up to. I wonder if we'll find out in the episodes left.

I loved this episode! I

I loved this episode! I loved L'Amanda (but I loved Constance too... this show is ALL ABOUT stereotypes, so why should sassy black women be exempt?) I think Wili's going to steal Bradford's sperm.

This was a great Episode!

I also enjoyed this episode a great deal. Ugly Betty is an awesome series... How do those writers do it! It will be interesting to see where it all goes from here. Justin may be underused but he is back to his old self. As long as he does not get too stereotypical.
