Ugly Betty Episode 209 Recap: “Giving Up the Ghost”

He adds that now that Betty’s guilt-free, she can send him off into the great beyond. She wonders if she’ll ever see him again. “That’s up to you,” he says. And floats away to subconscious-manifestation heaven.

Casa Suarez. The family comes down to find Betty has bought them the much-talked-about pink tree. She says they can honor tradition with their mother’s favorite ornament, but that it’s also OK to start shaking things up a bit and do it their own way.

Oh, and the way she afforded a new tree for them? By taking her old job back. So that little plot development lasted all of a week.
