Brothers & Sisters Recaps: Week 14 (page 4)
by Dennis Ayers Page 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 - Next Cut to Holly's office a few moments later. Uncle Saul is tepidly scolding her for stirring up trouble between Tommy and Sarah. Holly: What I said to him was the truth. But I'm sorry. It won't happen again. And I have another proposal for you. Dinner tonight? Saul: Dinner on Valentine's Day? We've been down that road before Holly. Holly: This will be completely different…. This time Brothers & Sisters won't actually film their date. (Whatever happens between Holly and Saul on their Valentine's Day date happens offscreen.) Cut to the outer office of billionare, Michael Pellington . Kitty and the Senator are waiting for Pellington to meet with them. While they wait, Kitty is grilling McAllister about his plans for a White House bid. She thinks he's being overly optimistic about his chances. Kitty: Senator, I'm sorry but you're just not going to get the Presidential nomination. At this point Michael Pellington enters. The self-made billionaire is handsome and imperious and the Senator does his best to suck up to him. McAllister: Kitty, this is the guy that pillaged Silicon Valley. Pellington: I didn't pillage anyone's valley. I might have plundered it slightly. Kitty's curiosity is piqued. As is possibly her “valley.” What is she doing wasting her time with McAllister? Me, I think she should be dating Pellington. Cut to Kevin's apartment. Kevin is getting dressed after an afternoon quickie with Chad. The sex might be good but all the sneaking around is starting to get to Kevin. Kevin: There's an inevitable outcome here, Chad. We both know where this is going. Chad: You're not my prisoner. I'm not making you stay with me. Prisoner? These two are into sexual role play awfully early in their relationship. That's never a good sign. Kevin: No, we're both your prisoner. Uhm, that's going to be sort of hard to role play, I think. Chad: I'm sorry, I don't know what else to do. Chad reaches into his gym bag and pulls out a valentine's day present. It's a watch. A very bulky watch. Kevin: This is way too much. I agree. It looks like a wind-up alarm clock affixed to a wristband. Cut to the Walker Mansion. Justin is moving in and Nora is helping him unpack. Nora is being motherly in an annoying way. She asks about his old girlfriend, Fawn. She didn't like that one. What about the other one? Justin: Tyler? Nora: Yes, Tyler. I liked her. Whatever happened to her? Justin: She's seeing somebody. Nora: Oh, that's too bad. Have you called her? You have to fight for her. Justin: That's great mom, you're teaching me to be a stalker. Nora: Well, since you don't have plans for Valentine's Day. Maybe we can do something together. Justin doesn't look all that excited about spending Valentine's Day with his mother. Nora: I have reservations at this great French restaurant and maybe we can go to that animated movie afterwards, you know the one where all the animals escape from the farm or the zoo or whatever…. Fortunately for Justin, just then Sarah calls. She asks him if he can baby-sit so she and husband Joe can have a romantic night out. Justin jumps at the invitation. Anything to get away from Momma Nora and her animated movie night. |
