ROUNDUP On scripted television, gay-ish teen Andrew sunk to new lows on Desperate Housewives (ABC) and gay P.I. Chris Didion continued to investigate on Eyes (ABC). On Wednesday, USA aired the premiere of Ring of Fire: The Emile Griffith Story, a well-reviewed film that debuted at Sundance in January, about one boxer who killed another boxer in 1962 after he taunted him with gay slurs. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Will and Grace may yet live another to air another season: NBC is reportedly very close to finalizing a deal for the show to return for another season. MOVIE
ROUNDUP The Cannes Film Festival announced their lineup for this year's festival, which begins on May 11, and openly gay director Gus Van Sant's latest film Last Days made the cut. Brokeback Mountain, unsurprisingly did not. TIME
