Meet Your Asshat and Your Gay of the Week for the Week of October 29, 2010

There was really no question about the results for this week's Asshat. Clint McCance ran away with a stunning 81% of the vote for saying that he'd wear purple if all gays killed themselves. His attempt at redemption on AC360 failed to change any hearts or minds. Even Dr. Phil called the apology insincere, and if anyone is an expert on insincerity, well, it's him.

Only the perennial favorites of the Catholic Church managed to crack double digits, and Robert Rowling's $2 million donation to Karl Rove's anti-gay PAC only garnered 3.6%, despite costing the company at least four Gold's Gym franchises in San Francisco.

Clint McCance will only wear the trucker cap of shame for a week unless he takes to Facebook again. We'll pick a new antihero next week.
