Apparently, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience is expected such a behemoth at the box office that every other studio decided to get out of its way as it's nothing but crap this week. I guess Watchmen was afraid to compete head-to-head for the thirteen-year-old girl demographic!

Meanwhile, for those of you — including me — who thought the Oscars needed a whole LOT more of Hugh Jackman, you'll be happy to know that Australia is out on DVD. Or you could rent Beverly Hills Chihuahua instead,

Also out on DVD is Rick & Steve: The Complete Second Season! Woot! Woot!

Friday and Saturday night are pretty gay-free, but things queer up considerably on Sunday night. On Showtime's United States of Tara Kate gives little brother Marshall dating advice by telling him to play hard to get with his crush Jason. Um, so far Jason hasn't exactly seemed clued in as to Marshall's feelings so playing hard to get might be a little premature, no?

Meanwhile, over on CBS Mike, Mel and Luke are all still in the running on The Amazing Race. Sorry, Desperate Housewives fans, but that very special movie event extravaganza once in a lifetime viewing event called Brothers & Sisters two-hour episode means no Andrew, Alex, Bob or Lee this week. And judging from the promo stills and clips I've watched for B&S, I'm not expecting much Kevin and Scotty either. In fact,the promo pics mostly have Kevin looking more like he's secret service than a senator's advisor.

I didn't think there was anyway RuPaul's Drag Race could top last week's episode, but if anyone can do it, it's Xena: Warrior Princess! That's right, the one and only Lucy Lawless drops by as guest judge on Monday's episode. And it looks like she shows how fierce her stuff is on the catwalk too!

All it needs is a chakra!
