TELEVISION ISN'T THE ONLY PLACE WE'RE UNDERREPRESENTED
Last week Doonesbury nicely worked Mark, the strip's gay character, into a storyline involving B.D. the former football star and recently injured Iraq soldier. B.D. also fought in Vietnam and he and Mark have never quite seen eye to eye on anything, including Mark's being gay. But that doesn't keep Mark from helping out his old college friend.

I may have missed the news, but apparently Mark has a new boyfriend after he and his rightwing boyfriend split earlier this year. Here's hoping we meet Mark's new love interest soon. Wouldn't it be fun if his name just happened to be Stephen Baldwin?
