The ratings for the SciFi Channel's Battlestar Galactica: Razor weren't terribly high so a lot of folks probably missed this very interesting development in the world of corporate sponsorship. Fairly early on in the movie we learn that Admiral Helena Cain (Michelle Forbes) and Gina/Number Six (Tricia Helfer) are lovers. Shortly thereafter this little ad for Quiznos pops up.

It's been revealed Helena Cain and Gina Neviere are lovers. Brought to you by Quiznos. Mmmm...mmm...mmm...toasty!

Who knew lesbian lovers are "toasty"! Personally, I think this is a brilliant idea and can think of a whole host of opportunities for other businesses, organizations and individuals that could sponsor other gay television moments. Being the helpful Boy Scout that I once was, I took some time to come up with a few suggestions! (Please note this is satire!)

Brother and Sisters' Kevin Walker (Matthew Rhys) and Jason MCallister (Eric Winter) seem All-American and wholesome, especially Jason is a reverend. They'd be perfect for an ad!

The voice-over could go something like this:

After a passionate night of hot, hot on man-action with lover Jason McCallister, Kevin Walker wants his breath to be minty fresh! Brought to you by Crest Toothpaste. Now that's fresh!

Or this one for Clearasil using the Luke and Noah storyline on As The Word Turns!

This voice-over would be:

Luke Snyder and Noah Mayer finally got to lock lips despite Noah's psychotic, homophobic, and murderous father. Brought to you by Clearasil. Get c-c-c-loser!

Finally, we all know the military loves to use ads with hot guys to try and lure in impressionable young men in to signing up. So what better segment than Torchwood's recent "Captain Jack Harkness" episode?

This voice-over would be:

Captain Jack traveled back to 1941 and met the man from whom he took his name. But before his namesake died tragically, the two men shared a sweet kiss. Brought to you by the U.S. Army where hot, horny men shower together all the time.

No need to thank me corporate America! Just send royalty checks!
