Best. Gay. Week. Ever. (December 5, 2008)As the World Turns — Props to the show for giving the new drunk Luke a lot of air time, and also for not going the easy route and just turning Brian Wheatley into an unscrupulous, closeted chicken hawk.

FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE MOVIES Opening this Week in limited release: Beyoncé and Adrien Brody star in Cadillac Records. This film charts the rise and fall of the storied R&B music label, Chess Records, which was founded by Leonard Chess (Brody), and became home to such music legends as Chuck Berry and Etta James. Beyoncé plays Etta. That alone makes it worth a look!
Brody and Beyoncé in Cadillac Records Other than that, you might be better off traveling to one of the thirty-six theaters around the country that are currently playing Milk. And you won't be alone! Last week the film took in an impressive $38,361 per screen average, and with that even managed to crack the box office top 10! Very impressive. TV The Graham Norton Show kicks off its new season Saturday 10pm EST on BBC America. He welcomes reigning box office sweetheart Reese Witherspoon, and some British celebrities I've never heard of. Here's hoping Norton gets Witherspoon to give up some salacious personal details about her relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal. Otherwise, its just her peddling that awful Christmas movie of hers.
