IMHO — THIS WEEK IN GAY TV
TORCHWOOD: Judging from the comments in Steven's recap, I'm in the minority that really liked this episode.That being said, I'm glad Owen's storyline is on the backburner now and am sorry that Martha is gone. Why do the good ones always leave us?
TORCHWOOD: I appreciate Ianto getting in Owen's face for dissing his relationship with Jack, but when their romance is getting less screentime than Nuke, there's a problem. No GLAAD award for these guys!
AS THE WORLD TURNS: Noah doesn't realize the INS is going to investigate his fake marriage until he's already married? Gee, I guess Captain Pervy didn't teach him to read the fine print. And I get he's worried about Ameera, but the mother hen shtick is going to get old fast. Personally I think he and Luke should frame Ameera for a crime she didn't commit, get her so addicted to Starbucks she leaves Noah for a sugar daddy, or convince her we found those weapson of mass destruction and Iraq is as safe as Oakdale!
AS THE WORLD TURNS: Would the writers please give Luke something else to do besides sulk? He keeps saying he's fine with what Noah's doing for plot contrivance Ameera, then he glares like a six-year-old being told to finish his broccolini every time Noah gets near her. I don't care if he plots Ameera's demise, sets her up with Elliot Spitzer, or starts seeing other guys, but enough with the glaring.
MAKE ME A SUPERMODEL: ***SPOILER ALERT*** Ronnie Kroell must be part cat because he's got more than nine lives. Either that or every gay boy in the country votes like mad each week to keep him around. And this week, we got to see even more naked Ronnie. And Perry. And Ben.
