News, Reviews & Commentary on Gay and Bisexual Men in Entertainment and the Media

Best. Gay. Week. Ever. (April 18, 2008)

Gossip Girl returns to the CW on Monday night and the gay character the internet has been buzzing about is finally revealed. I hope you ain't holding your breath in anticipation. Just sayin'.

You're much better off checking out the CW's Reaper on Tuesday night when gay demons Steve and Tony are featured in "Rebellion" which is all about their trying to capture the devil. Something tells me things aren't going to go very well with that. The couple has added some needed zip to the show which has used them to good effect. Here's hoping they keep it up.

As if that wasn't enough to make Tuesday gay, gay, gay, you can also catch the second episode of Work Out, while Dancing with Stars featuring the out Bruno Tonioli is on again, as is the gay episode of Law & Order: SVU, I mentioned wa-a-a-a-y back on page one. And for you late night owls, Tuesday gives you an extra two reasons to stay up late as out lead singer Ed Droste and Grizzly Bear make an appearance on Conan O'Brien's show. The second reason is on Turner Classic Movies and is the 1924 silent film Michael which tells the story of Claude, an artist struggling against his attraction to a male model named Michael, who eventually falls in love with a young woman leaving Claude bereft. Well, at least he doesn't become a serial killer. I hope. Michael airs at 12 AM.

Top Chef and Dress My Nest both have new episodes on Wednesday night. while Ugly Betty is finally back on Thursday night. These pics of Wilhelmina (Vanessa Williams) and Marc (Michael Urie) are actually from the following week's episode, but I like to share.

Thursday also has Will Arnett showing up as the gay network executive Devin Banks on 30 Rock, but for some reason he's hanging out with these hot little numbers. Let's hope it's a charade.

Logo (AfterElton.com's parent company) goes high definition on Thursday night with the U.S premiere of Scissor Sisters: Live at the 02 Arena. This is a little history in the making as it marks the first high def broadcast from a gay television network.

It'll be several weeks before we get to meet the smooching gay soldiers on Grey's Anatomy, so I thought I'd post some more new pics of T.R. Knight looking all officious and knowledgeable.
