The Most Homophobic Cartoonist in America?

It’s shocking some of the things straight people can still get away with saying about gay people. Case in point is Sean Delonas of the New York Post. The man has drawn some of the most appalling cartoons about gay folks you’ve ever seen. Here is one just to give you an idea of what I’m talking about.
Another hit news stands after New Jersey’s Supreme Court ruled in favor of gay marriage. That particular cartoon showed a man carrying a sheep to the marriage license office. That’s right a sheep. Oy. Remember, this is a grown man we’re talking about. Not an eight year old boy. What’s really upsetting is that other than Gawker and a few other online sites, the homophobic Delonas doesn’t get called on this BS. Imagine the outcry if the Post ran a cartoon showing an African American with a bone through their nose eating watermelon. There’d be hell to pay for it and rightfully so. Well, the mainstream media doesn’t have much to say about it, but thankfully GLAAD does. They suggest you contact the Post and let them know gay-bashing isn’t an appropriate form of political discourse. As for me, I’m going to be in New York next week. I think I’ll just egg the Post’s front door. After all, don’t eight-year old boy cartoons deserve eight year old boy responses?
