Calderon Comes Out

Last night on The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, former Survivor castaway J.P. Calderon was faced with the "difficult" choice of either staying in the closet and subsiding into cultural obscurity, or coming out as a gay man and landing the cover of Instinct Magazine. He chose to come out.  At least I think he chose to come out. They left the question as sort of a cliffhanger for next week's show.  However, I've seen the cover of Instinct this month and, sure enough, he's on it. So there you go. Hurrah! Good for J.P. Here are some screen shots from last night's episode. First, Janice meets with Mike Wood, Instinct's Editor-in-Chief. He tells her they want J.P. for the February cover -- but the magazine only allows out gay men to appear on their cover (I guess that means Gwen Stefani is an out gay man -- she January's cover model). Janice doesn't know how she's going to broach this sensitive subject with J.P. since she "has no idea if he's gay or not." Still, this is a national magazine cover. Obviously, she'll have to have a private talk with J.P. "Hey J.P. Do you wanna be on the cover of a national magazine?" "That's a tough one, Janice. I'm an intensely private sort of guy." "Let me think about it and get back to you next week"
