J.P. Calderon's interview with Instinct

Via Towleroad I learned that Instinct Magazine has posted their interview with J.P. Calderon. If you caught last night's episode of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency you know that J.P. did, in fact, decide to come out. Given that he came out on a reality show, I was a wee bit skeptical of things, but after reading the interview, J.P. does indeed seem very genuine. I wondered why he grew so emotional when talking with Janice about coming out, but the interview makes it clear how much J.P. has struggled with the issue. He comes from a Latino background and lost his mother when he was young. It sounds like he also struggled with his relationship with his father and is worried about what coming out will do to his relationship with the kids he coaches. Good for J.P. for coming out and here's hoping good things come to him.
