Dangerous Muse wishes everyday was Halloween

Electro-pop duo and former Advocate coverboys Dangerous Muse have gotten into the holiday spirit with their new single, a cover of Ministry's "Everyday Is Halloween," released today.

Originally due for release a week ago, the track was delayed due to a "minor complication" between Warner Music and iTunes. It's a shame, as the song surely would have been a huge hit in the clubs this Halloween weekend. The track is a lot of fun and I love lead singer Mike Furey's vocals: sometimes growly, sometimes breathy, but always incredibly sexy. I've got to say, I prefer his voice over Al Jourgensen's in the original.

But as good as the single is, the "Josh Harris Club Mix" (which you can preview over on the group's Myspace page) is even better. Adding in some throbbing techno beats, the remix is pretty irresistible.

As a bonus, I've included the oddly endearing YouTube video of Dangerous Muse carving (with varying degrees of success) the pumpkins that were going to appear on the cover of the remix album.

"Everyday Is Halloween" is available, starting today, exclusively through iTunes, as is a five-track EP of remixes.

Thanks for the Dangerous

Thanks for the Dangerous Muse Update. I did not know they had a new song

I've been a "fan" ever since I saw their nude picture on Perez(I know I'm not suppose to say this name ;) ) Good looking and making good 80'sish music? What's not to love? Except the new blond hair of the singer...I prefered him with brown hair.

I find them a little

I find them a little pretentious with their poly-sexual New York underground image. Thats just me though. They are pretty to look at.

I Prefer the Original

After the first album, "Ministry" just completely blew it by going for that braindead, flatline demographic that enjoys to listen to white-noise(the technical term for random information).

However, Ministry's version of "Everyday is Halloween" is much better.

Where are those - ahem - pictures of Dangerous Muse?

Damn! I looked all over the

Damn! I looked all over the internet but they seem to have disappeared from both Perez and their official website. I'm guessing they thought it was too riské and removed them. Sorry :(
