Garneau releases C-Side tracks

Chris Garneau, whose new music video we wrote about last week, just released three new songs off of his upcoming five-track EP, C-Sides. The new tracks are currently streaming over at Garneau’s MySpace page. I’m partial to "It’s Almost Christmas," though that may just be because I’m in the holiday spirit. Or because it’s the most orchestrated, featuring backup singers and smooth trumpets. Either way, it's good. But all three tracks feature the distinctive Chris Garneau voice, which my boyfriend just described perfectly: "I feel like he's whispering into the microphone. It's kinda ........ nice. Like, I can't decide if he's shy, or being cute and singing to me quietly in the dark." You can’t get a more enticing description than that, my friends.

C-Sides doesn’t appear to have an official release date (his website and MySpace both simply state that it will be "Out Soon!"), but Garneau will be touring throughout the month to promote the release. You can find a list of tour stops on his Myspace page.
