8 True Blood (1.2)

Dancing with the Stars has come back strong this season, but like most hour long scripted shows, Ugly Betty and Brothers & Sisters are down from last season's numbers. One possible explanation is the lingering effects of the writers' strike. B&S landed at #20 in last week's Nielsen ratings and for the season currently ranks #18. HBO's , True Blood started off strongly in its debut, but dipped afterward. Nonetheless, te ecable network has picked up the show for a second season.
