Adorkable Alert: Kevin Richardson, "Lion Whisperer"

A few weeks back Andy and I caught a National Geographic show that told the story of animal behaviorist Kevin Richardson, a man who has dedicated his life to understanding lions, hyenas, and other wildlife at the Lion Park in South Africa.

While the various big cats and such were certainly interesting, we found ourselves drawn in by something else: the decidedly odd but irresistibly adorable charms of Richardson himself, a man who by outward appearances has no need for human contact but can roll around with tigers until the cows come home (and are unceremoniously eaten alive).

While I certainly wouldn't call Kevin a "dork"-type person, a guy who spends all his waking hours playing pushme-pullyou with hyenas isn't exactly your standard pinup, so we thought we'd celebrate him here.
