Adorkable Alert: "Puppy Bowl" taskmaster Ref Andy
Another week, another crush. Sigh. Our latest object of affection landed on the official Adorkable list for several reasons. One, he has no problem picking up poop. (Never too early to think about these things, fellas!) Another, he has no problem making bad puns involving barking sounds. ("Unnecessary Rrrrrrruffness", etc.) And, last but not least, he's rocking a sweet beard that launched him from "pleasant set dressing in bold stripes" to "schoolgirl crush material" in the first down. He's Ref Andy, master of the Puppy Bowl! Like last year, I'm heading to a Puppy Bowl party this Sunday (thanks, K&E!) to take in the Water Bowl Cam, the Bissell Kitty Halftime Show (so much confetti!!), and, for the first time, Pepper the Parrot singing the National Anthem.
But this year my attention may be pulled from the scampy rescues to the returning ref, Andy Schechter, who since 2007 has put on a few pounds and grown a snappy beard. Go Bears! Okay, Andrew may not be gay (an online social networking site says he's looking for "women", and I don't think he means to go shopping with), but his love of puppies and willingess to throw himself headlong into the Thunderdome of cuteness more than makes up for it.
Tune into Puppy Bowl V, this Sunday! And for more of Ref Andy (including video!), head on over to the Puppy Bowl website.

Puppy Bowl lovin'!
Thanks for plugging the upcoming Puppy Bowl. I've been a fan since its inception!
As someone who routinely gets antsy during the actual Super Bowl, the Puppy Bowl has been a lifesaver the last few years. Now, at Super Bowl parties, I can take a break and check out those competitive pups on one of the other TVs!
Puppies!!!!!
OMG I love puppies and guys who love puppies.
Give me a Man and a puppy and I am happy.
Live Long and Prosper
I LOVE The Puppy Bowl!!!
. . .it's what my sisters, sisters-in-law and I watch whilst the fellas are watching the Big Game!
