Hairspray 2?
Hairspray 2? Why?
Thanks for the link to the Batman article. What an interesting read. I cant believe the obvious subtext these older comic books had.
And great looking guy, BTW.
More Baltimore.

What attracted me to Superheroes in the 1950s was always the fantasy of a man/boy relationship such as Superman and Jimmy Olson or Batman and Robin. Didn't all of these costume queens have some kind of boy follower? I think that's why I've never gotten into the films much. The movies always focus on the girls in the superhero's life. I had high hopes for "Batman and Robin" when it came out, but George Clooney was a dud Batman and Chris O'Connell (always easy on the eyes) was automatically paired with a Batgirl! Probably nothing they can do on film will recapture the wonder I felt when first introduced to the Batboys (I was in Europe when the TV series aired and only saw it later, in reruns). But it might all come rushing back if someone just had the guts to pair Tom Wellings' Superboy/Clark Kent with Ian Somerhalder's Adam Knight or Jensen Ackles' Jason Teague. I'd pay to see that! I'm probably going to go see "The Dark Knight" this weekend, and, in addtion to mourning Heath, I'll be looking for gay subtext. It's what I've been doing with superhero TV series and films my entire life. Chances are, I'm going to find it.
